About
We exist to connect ambition with success. To make learning unforgettable and transformative. To prepare students for careers that don’t just follow the world—but lead it.
Our Mission
Edconic is reimagining how and where learning happens. We design transformative educational experiences in collaboration with the world’s most iconic organizations.
Our programs are immersive, aspirational, and deeply relevant to the real world. Whether in New York, London, Madrid or online, Edconic learners gain behind-the-scenes access, build real-world portfolios, and engage with the people shaping the industries they admire.
Our History
Edconic has been operating for more than two decades beginning with the acquisition of the London campus of Sotheby’s Institute of Art in 2003. Over the years we have built a portfolio of world-class education programs with iconic organizations including Sotheby’s Institute of Art, The School of The New York Times (est. 2016), Manchester City Sports Business School (est. 2022), Vogue College of Fashion (formerly Condé Nast College, acquired in 2023) and WIRED Education (est. 2024). Edconic is owned by Cambridge Information Group (CIG), a family-owned investment firm since 1971 focused on long-term and meaningful ventures in education, technology, and information services.
Our Schools
From pre-college and undergraduate study to accredited graduate degrees and continuing education, Edconic delivers industry-immersive programs that connect learners directly to the worlds they aspire to join.
