Arizona State University Partners with Edconic to Expand Career-Connected Study Abroad
Arizona State University’s Global Education Office has partnered with Edconic to give Sun Devils access to industry-immersive summer programs in the business of fashion, art, technology, and culture. Beginning Summer 2026, ASU students can earn university credit while learning directly from experts at Vogue, WIRED, and Sotheby’s in London and New York City.
The partnership reflects ASU’s continued leadership in innovation and access. Ranked #1 in Innovation by U.S. News & World Report for eleven consecutive years, ASU has built its global education portfolio around a core belief: that students from any background and on any career path deserve access to transformative international experiences.
Edconic’s programs go beyond traditional study abroad by embedding students directly into the industries they want to enter. The programs are credit-bearing and represent a new model of work-integrated learning — one that combines the global perspective of study abroad with the hands-on depth of an internship experience. Students work on real portfolio-building projects with direct industry feedback, whether that means developing marketing campaigns with Vogue editors, curating a display with Sotheby’s specialists, or exploring the intersection of technology and storytelling with WIRED journalists. To date, students from more than 100 universities worldwide have participated in Edconic’s programs, leaving with stronger portfolios, professional networks, and the career clarity that sets them apart after graduation.
“We’re thrilled to partner with the Global Education Office at Arizona State University to bring career-connected, experiential learning through Vogue, WIRED, and Sotheby’s to Sun Devils,” said Brandon Busteed, CEO of Edconic. “ASU students are a natural fit for our industry-immersive model, and we look forward to welcoming them into our global learning community.”
“Students come to college to prepare for a job after graduation. These global programs through Edconic offer students the chance to gain experience with world-renowned brands to help them gain the skills and global perspective that will set them apart.” said Noah Rost, Executive Director, Arizona State University Global Education Office.
ASU students can choose from programs in London and New York City across three distinctive brands: Vogue College of Fashion, offering concentrations in Fashion Business and Fashion Media; WIRED Education, exploring the intersection of business, technology, and innovation; and Sotheby’s Institute of Art, featuring specialized tracks in Luxury Business, the Global Art Market, and Curator Academy.
Students will be participating this summer. ASU students can apply for future summers through the ASU Global Education Office website or at edconic.com/undergraduate-programs.
